Pastoral offices
Friends and church members may stop by during the day. A clear signal can distinguish an open door from a private or intense conversation that should not be interrupted.
GUIDED CHURCH OFFICE PILOT · FREE NONPROFIT PLAN
Help pastors, production staff, administrators, and receptionists know when it is okay to interrupt—without exposing what anyone is working on.
One glance before you call, transfer, or walk over.
ONE PRIVACY-SAFE ANSWER
Staff keep the context on their own dashboard. Everyone else receives only the signal they need: Available, In a Meeting, On a Call, Focus, Recording, Busy, or Away.
Friends and church members may stop by during the day. A clear signal can distinguish an open door from a private or intense conversation that should not be interrupted.
Protect wiring, editing, troubleshooting, and other complex work that needs sustained focus—without treating every production day like a Sunday service.
Open Reception View on any computer or phone so staff can see whether to call, transfer, message, or wait. Each person controls whether they appear.
GUIDED CHURCH OFFICE PILOT
Arron will help a three-to-five-person weekday church staff get set up, then learn from how the team actually uses Presence. The pilot is free and uses the calendars, browsers, phones, and optional screens you already have.
Request the guided pilotInclude the people who most often need a clearer answer—such as a pastor, administrator, receptionist, or production lead.
Each person controls their own connections. Open Team or Reception View where coworkers already look during the day.
Tell Arron where Presence prevented an interruption, where it was confusing, and what would make it worth keeping open.
HOW IT WORKS
No new workplace surveillance system. No calendar decoder at the front desk.
Each person chooses the calendars and supported tools that should shape their status.
Scheduled and live signals become a simple answer while the underlying details stay private.
Use a private display, team link, or Reception View on the devices you already own.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Presence is built to reduce interruptions. It is not designed to score productivity, track attendance, or reveal the contents of someone's day.

Verified nonprofit organizations will keep the core Presence plan at $0. Beta requests are reviewed personally; before paid plans begin, nonprofit status will be confirmed with one reasonable public source and without donor, member, or client data.
A NOTE FROM ARRON
Church offices can be unusually hard places to focus. The walls are thin, the people are accessible, and an open door can turn into an interruption before anyone knows whether the moment is a good one.
I also know how carefully nonprofits watch every expense. People serving meaningful missions deserve thoughtful tools, but the cost of another subscription should not compete with the work itself.
“If Presence can make the day a little clearer for people doing meaningful work, cost should not be the reason they cannot use it.”Arron HarttFounder of Presence
SIMPLE, HUMAN VERIFICATION
Beta approval is personally reviewed and provisional. Before paid plans begin, eligible organizations will be confirmed for the permanent $0 core plan with the least information reasonably needed.
An organization website, public registry, denominational or network directory, or school listing is usually enough. The field is optional for small organizations without one.
Presence will approve the request, ask for one missing fact, or explain why the organization is not eligible. Reviews are manual, not instant or automated.
Verified status is rechecked annually. Organizations can reply to the decision or email presence@arronhartt.com to appeal with corrected public evidence.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
It is a small, hands-on beta for weekday church offices. Start with three to five staff members, connect only the signals each person approves, open a shared Team or Reception View, and tell Arron what helps or gets in the way. The pilot does not provide access to private calendar details or employee-monitoring tools.
The core plan includes availability status, supported calendar and meeting signals, private display links, and Organization and Group Views. Optional future services may be separate, but the core nonprofit plan will remain free.
Registered nonprofits, churches and ministries, nonprofit schools, and credible noncommercial community or volunteer organizations can qualify. For-profit businesses and individual projects can still use beta access or a generally available plan, but they are not eligible for the permanent nonprofit pricing promise.
During beta, Arron personally reviews every request. Before paid plans begin, Presence will confirm eligibility using one reasonable public source such as an organization website, government registry, denominational or network directory, or school listing. If public evidence is not enough, Presence may request one redacted document—not donor, member, client, financial, or unredacted identity records.
Reply to the decision email or contact presence@arronhartt.com with corrected or additional public evidence. Verified status will be rechecked annually and may be removed for material misrepresentation, loss of eligibility, abuse of the program, or a Terms violation. Presence will provide a reason and appeal path unless a security or legal risk prevents it.
Presence keeps the minimum decision record and a link to the public source used. If one private redacted document is exceptionally needed, only the reviewer may access it and the file is deleted within 30 days after the decision. Presence does not request donor, member, congregant, student, client, patient, volunteer, financial, or unredacted identity records.
No. Shared views show a simplified availability signal. They do not show meeting titles, attendees, calendar names, caller information, precise locations, productivity scores, or activity histories.
No. Presence works in a modern browser on a computer or phone. A tablet, office-door display, or connected light is optional.
No. Presence can help churches, community organizations, schools, volunteer teams, and other mission-driven groups. The same privacy boundaries apply to every organization.
CHURCH OFFICE PILOT OR NONPROFIT ACCESS
Choose the guided pilot or the broader nonprofit program, then tell Arron where a clearer status would help. These organization requests remain personally reviewed so the right people and views can be set up together.
Presence is not affiliated with or endorsed by any church, nonprofit, calendar provider, or meeting platform referenced on this page. Product availability and integration support may change during beta.
